Confirmation is preceded by a two year preparation session from 7th through the 8th grade, with the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated by the Bishop at Saint Charles Borromeo  in the Fall of the student's 9th Grade year. This is proceeded by a Retreat Day and an Interview Night and practice.

Free to join this group are any teens through adults over the age of 16 who have received Baptism, First Penance and First Communion but desire Confirmation. Classes are held in the Fall before the sacrament of Confirmation is conferred.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONFIRMATION 2024

• This is for those in 8^th grade currently and who will be in 9^th Grade come Sept 2024. (and all those older students who are in the program as well)
• Complete 9 events (things that I assign – each collection is one event) OR 20 hours of Service – Community, School or Church
• Attend One of the Stations of The Cross held this Lent 2024 on a Friday 7PM.. dates – Feb 16, 23, March 1, 8, 15 and 22. And attend EITHER Holy Thursday Mass at 7PM Thursday March 28 or Good Friday March 29 Service at 3PM.

• Confirmation Candidates Blessing and Packet Distribution  Sunday April 21. Meet at 9Am Mass and Downstairs for a Meeting , Donuts and Bagels
• Summer 2024  TBD  Confessions, Retreat and Interviews
• Fall 2024   TBD by Bishop’s Letter I should receive by July    Confirmation Date and Practice
